On July 19, 2026, Relay Peak Research LLC (d/b/a Zen Principle Naturals) recalled one lot of Zen Principle Moringa Capsules because FDA testing of the moringa leaf powder used to manufacture the product was positive for Salmonella.

Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and people with weakened immune systems. Healthy people infected with Salmonella may experience fever, diarrhea, which may be bloody, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, Salmonella infection can result in the organism entering the bloodstream and causing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, endocarditis, and arthritis.

Recalled Zen Principle Moringa Capsules (see product photos) were distributed nationwide from December 2025 through July 2026 and sold to consumers online through Amazon and the company’s website. One unit was also sold on eBay, and one unit was sold on Etsy. The recalled products can be further identified by the following:
