Hidden Tadalafil Found in Green Lumber Natural Fuel for Men

On October 23, 2026, the FDA renewed its warning not to purchase or use Green Lumber Natural Fuel For Men after laboratory testing of additional samples found tadalafil that was not listed on the product label.

(See ConsumerLab’s Sexual Enhancer Supplements Review for tests of related products.)

Tadalafil is the active ingredient in the prescription drug Cialis, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction. Because tadalafil was not disclosed on the label, consumers could unknowingly be exposed to the drug. Tadalafil can interact with nitrate medications, such as nitroglycerin, and may cause blood pressure to fall to dangerously low levels. This is of particular concern for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease, who may be more likely to use nitrate medications.

FDA first issued a public notification about the product in September 2019 after laboratory testing also found undeclared tadalafil.

Consumers who experience adverse effects or side effects related to the product should contact a healthcare provider and may report the event to FDA’s MedWatch program.
