On February 27, 2024, the Coca-Cola Company issued a recall of various lots of Powerade Zero Fruit Punch, Powerade Zero Mixed Berry, and Powerade Mountain Berry Blast electrolyte drinks because the products may contain a foreign metal object, namely a stainless-steel ring.

Recalled Powerade drinks were distributed in South Carolina and Florida and are packaged in 20 oz PET bottles within a 24-variety pack. Eight bottles of Powerade Grape were also included in the variety packs. Recalled products can be further identified by the following:

  • Powerade Zero Fruit Punch, Product Quantity: 149 cases, Lot Codes: 0013098209, 0013111742, 0013111657, 0013119902, Expiration Date: NOV1124AME
  • Powerade Zero Mixed Berry, Product Quantity: 387 cases, Lot Codes: 0013098209, 0013111742, 0013111657, 0013119902, Expiration Date: NOV1124AMC

The Coca-Cola Company is notifying consignees or the public of the recall by email, letter, press release, telephone, or visit.
