Citrulline and Exercise Performance
Question: Does citrulline improve exercise performance or recovery?
Answer: Citrulline is an amino acid that the body converts to arginine which, in turn, may help with blood flow. Consequently, studies have been done with citrulline, as well as arginine, to assess their effectiveness in improving exercise performance. Although there is some evidence that arginine may help in certain situations, citrulline has not been found to be particularly helpful. Get the details in the Citrulline section of the L-Arginine Supplements Review.
