Glucosamine, Chondroitin and Reduced Risk of Death
Question: Is it true that glucosamine and chondroitin can reduce the risk of death, like aspirin?
Answer: A large, multi-year study found a significantly lower risk of death during the study among people taking glucosamine and/or chondroitin, as explained in the Joint Health Supplements Review. More research is needed to determine if this is a cause-and-effect relationship.
