Our Members Asked:
Does consuming casein protein, like in Greek yogurt, increase the risk of prostate cancer?

Answer:
There is some evidence suggesting that dairy, and particularly yogurt (which is high in casein), may modestly increase the risk of prostate cancer. Preliminary laboratory research also suggests an effect of casein in promoting prostate cancer cells, although clinical studies showing this effect in men have yet to be conducted.
